How do I allow pop ups for my browser?

You can either allow all pop-ups or you can allow pop-ups just for Learning Nexus by adding an exception to your pop-up blocker list. If you are unsure how to manage your pop-ups please use the appropriate instruction below.

Internet Explorer

To manually allow pop-ups from a site, follow the steps below:

1. Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar.
2. Select Settings.
3. Click Show advanced settings.
4. In the "Privacy" section, click the Content settings button.
5. In the "Pop-ups" section, click Manage exceptions.

or

1. Click the Tools button, and then click Pop-up Blocker.

2. Do one of the following:
• To turn off Pop-up Blocker, click Turn Off Pop-up Blocker.
• To turn on Pop-up Blocker, click Turn On Pop-up Blocker.

Firefox

To access the pop-up blocker settings chose one of the actions below:

1. At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click Options
2. On the menu bar, click on the Firefox menu and select Preferences
3. At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Edit menu and select Preferences
4. At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Tools menu and select Options
5. On the menu bar, click on the Firefox menu and select Preferences
6. At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Edit menu and select Preferences
7. Select the Content panel

Safari

In Safari 4 and 5, you can handle pop-ups by choosing Safari > Block Pop-Up Windows to toggle the pop-up blocker setting on or off.
